All REALTOR® applicants are mandated to attend a New Member Orientation. You are required to attend one of the first 2 orientations offered after submission of your application. If 2 orientations are missed, a $100 fine will be charged to you for each subsequent miss.

The time for required attendance is 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. plus exam. However, you are also mandated to complete the approved NAR New Member Code of Ethics Course.

You must present your certificate of completion of the New Member Code of Ethics Course at or prior to the session. To complete the online training, go to www.larawebsite.com and hit the NAR CODE OF ETHICS COURSE on the left side of the screen. Choose #3 FREE Course for New Members. You will be asked for your NRDS number which you can obtain from the LARA Office.

This online course can be completed at your convenience prior to the scheduled session and a certificate of completion will be emailed to you.

Orientation sessions are conducted once each quarter and dates are published to our webpage (www.larawebsite.com), our Facebook Page, and are also emailed specifically to all new members in need of completing the session. Please have a valid email address on file with the board office to receive these business related notices and to confirm your attendance.

Please contact the Association office with any questions.
